Fast Transition From D-Zone to Offense by Panthers

https://vimeo.com/818704137

An example of a fast team transition out of the defensive zone that ends with a goal. All Florida Panthers are in their d-zone coverage and transition FAST and support each other as soon as they get puck possession.

What To Watch

  • The center, Malgin (FLA # 62), supports his defenseman in the corner
  • As soon as Florida has possession, all players transition to offense FAST
  • Malgin (FLA #62) gets possession of the puck and immediately picks his head up to see options as his feet are moving
  • Malgin (FLA #62) passes the puck to Connor Brickley (FLA # 23) to beat the first forechecker to begin the rush
