Small Area Games

Small area hockey games are one of the most effective ways coaches can keep players engaged, encourage decision making, promote creativity, and increase practice intensity. Plus, players love them! When adding small area games into practice plans coaches should make sure to choose games that are age appropriate. For example, at the younger age levels of mite and squirt, the small area games should not have too many complicated rules. As players get older and the skill levels progress, then you can incorporate games in which players have to do more problem solving in order to be successful. Below we have a vareity of games for many situations and every age level. Use the age filters to select games that are right for your group!
