Playing defense on a 2 vs 1 the goal is to force the puck carrier to shoot from as bad of an angle as possible while eliminating any pass across their own net.

What to Watch

Bouchard makes a quick read that Vegas has a 2 vs 1 and first takes away the most dangerous pass (to the middle)
Once he reads shot he lays flat on the ice to make a pass across his own net almost impossible
The goalie is able to square up and commit to the shooter
