This is a great clip to show your players on reading coverage on entries. Perron knows he has very few options when entering the zone so he delays and waits for his support to enter the zone. With some nice deception he's able to make a great play. Really nice display of awareness and patience here by Perron.
What to Watch
- As Perron enters the offensive zone he takes multiple looks over his shoulder and plays with his eyes up in order to scan the entire ice for his puck support as well as opposition pressure
- With the help of good drivers Perron is able to see and attack open ice and find the 4th man entering the zone late, leading to a goal
