This is a great example of a hook pass by Kadri. It is a great skill to have and allows you to get pucks through traffic and defenders sticks/skates.
What to Watch
- On O Zone entry Nazem Kadri recognizes the out stretched stick of the defender
- Milan Lucic skates and supports off the inside shoulder of the D
- Kadri chokes up on stick & executes a hook pass off of the heels of the defender to Lucic
- Kadri then jumps into space for a return pass & scores
