In this clip the Vegas Knights use a zone entry strategy that opens up space for the outside player and results in a goal. There are a couple of great things that lead to the goal.

What to Watch

The puck carrier claims the middle of the ice.
They kick the puck out to the player on the outside and skate right at the defender.
The player that receives the puck on the outside has patience and allows the middle lane net drive.
As the space opens up they move inside the dots and shoot through the traffic.
After the shot they continue towards the net looking for a rebound.
