One-Leg Drag - Forward Skating Exercise
This exercise helps players work on the technical aspects of the forward stride. By dragging the toe on the ice it forces them to bring the extended leg back under the body in a straight line. This drill will really help with the following:
- Fully extend and lengthen the stride
- Make sure you are not heel kicking
- Helping players recover in a straight line
