Single leg pushes in ice hockey are great to work on especially for younger players.
Coaching Points
- Start in Hockey Position
- Tight base is preferred over a wide base.
- Non pushing leg should go in a straight line and good kneed bend.
- Long strides with full extension and snapping the toe.
- Head up
- Back straight
- Arms are pumping back and forth about 45 degrees.
