2 on 0 Continuous Chip Flow

Get Full Access
Pay close attention to the aniimation in this drill. It is a great flow drill that incorporates 1 chip around the coach in the neutral zone. It also emphasizes driving hard to the net after chipping the puck in the neutral zone. To set up place 4 equal lines in each corner and place the pucks in the A corners. You also need a P3 at center ice just to start the drill. On the whistle P1 carries the puck a few strides and makes a cross ice pass to P2. P2 attacks the coach in the neutral zone and chips it off the wall to P3 who is swinging through the neutral zone calling "CHIP". P3 enters the zone wide and shoots from outside the dots for a rebound. After P2 chips the puck around the coach they drive hard to the net and hunt a rebound from P3's shot. P1, the player that started the drill, will now become P3 for the players coming out of the other end. The drill is continuous back and forth.
